Comparison of Educational Situation of Physical Education Curriculum Based on Point of Views of Middle School Principals, Teachers, Studentsand Parents

: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the educational position of physical education Curriculum among other subjects in managers, teachers, parents, and students’ views. The statistical population were of all managers and both male and female teachers (96 managers &1514 teachers), and all boys and girls students of Rasht (23686 students). The sample consists all the managers, 310 teachers, 400 students (197 boys and 203 girls) and their parents (n=400). The instrument was the researcher-made questionnaire, included 25 educational variables that compared educational position of physical education to other school subjects of first to third grades.Content and face validity have been approved by 12 intellectual academic professors and 20 heads of subject departments and experienced teachers, and reliability has also been approved by Cronbach Alpha method (r=0.79 to r=0.82). Friedman Test, Wilcoxon Test, Yeoman Witney Test, and Kruskal-Wallis test were used to test the research hypotheses (p≤0.05). The results  showed significant difference between the position of physical education subject with other school subjects on students, parents, managers, and teacher’ point of views (p=0.001). The top priority of subjects was mathematics, sciences, foreign language and physical education from point of views of students and their parents. Also, teachers ranked first, and school principals ranked second the physical education subject among mathematics and foreign language subjects.The top priority of boys than girls toward physical education subject were considered (p=0.001).
